Mr. Germain Seligman
3 East 51st Street
New York, N. Y.

Dear Mr. Seligman:

The Advisory Council of the Anti-Defamation League cordially invites you to a private meeting to be addressed by Mr. Richard E. Gutstadt at the Metropolis Club, 105 West 57th Street, Wednesday, March 8th at 6:30 o'clock. This dinner is for the purpose of having you and other selected contributors of the League hear Mr. Gutstadt's confidential resume of developments and activities during the past year.

We feel that those who have been active in the League's support are entitled to know something concretely of its accomplishments, but as the details obviously cannot be related in any letter, we are having this private gathering instead. I wish to repeat that only a selected list of sponsors are receiving this invitation, although if you desire we will permit you to make reservations for a few friends as well; this last privilege is restricted because of the type of "accounting" to be made and also because of the limited space.

The dinner is to be "Dutch treat" and the charge is made simply to cover actual expenses; in other words, $2.00 per person. Reservations must be made in advance in order that we will have a check upon those who will seek admittance, and also so that we will know how many to expect. Please return the card with your check for your place, or places, immediately. Incidentally, this affair is for men only.

We are certain that you will want to be present at this report of our "stewardship" and we in turn are anxious to acquaint you with the story of what we, with your help, have done in the way of protecting our democratic institutions.

Very sincerely,

Leonard V. Finder
