Mr. René Seligmann
Mr. Waegen
Mr. Levy
Mrs. Parker and Mr. Liechti

From Mr. Germain Séligmann February 3rd., 1939.

CARL HENSCHEL, having told me that someone was bargaining with him for the Eiffel Tower by Seurat, I told him the very best price that I could make was $5,000. net to us. No other haggling about this figure!

DUNCAN PHILLIPS is most probably going to buy the Vuilllard "Woman Sweeping" Everything has been settled between him and me on this subject.

MR. NESI might bring in the little painting by Chardin, which we have had here before. This painting is to be reserved for me. Mrs. Parker has special instructions on this topic.

RICH - LANCRET: Should Mr. Rich come in you will know what to do. The price to be quoted him is the one quoted to Boston.
Mr. Rich wrote to me a little while ago, answering a letter of mine, that he would be in New York towards the middle of the month, to look at this painting.

SANDBLOM: This is particularly for Mr. Liechti. As you know, Mr. Sandblom has bought a Juan Gris which is to be delivered on board, according to the last conversation I had with him, in his cabin, when he goes back to Sweden, and he is to post us about this. I want the matter referred to Mr. Liechti, so that he will know how much and how far the packing is to be carried out, as I don't think Mr. S. wants it as freight.

MANTEGNA and MEMLING: While I am away I don't want these paintings shown to anyone, and I want them locked up in the 4th. floor closet.

I have given Mrs. Parker quite a number of instructions about matters which I have been handling personally, and I want you therefore to refer to her and not muddle up things.
