LEON LOEB — He came to my office at my request to speak about his debt. He promised faithfully to pay back $5.00 weekly. He also told me that he was trying to become personally interested in one of the concessions at the Fair in which case he would be in a position to reimburse you in full before October 31st. Mr. Robbins to whom I submitted his suggestions, advised me to accept. However, I told Mr. Loeb that in case he should ever skip one of these weekly payments, he would find himself in trouble, and I am sure he is going to live up to his promise. First payment to be made August 2nd.

GEORGES HAARDT — Returned the Renoir, "Apple Seller" which he showed to Mr. Chrysler, Jr. at his office. Yesterday Mr. Haardt asked me to deliver it to him again together with the Renoir landscape (Perls) as Mr. Chyrsler was coming to see these pictures once more. So far, he has not showed up.

AUDIT — The accountants will finish this job by tonight.

PIERO TOZZI — Called up today in reference to his letter addressed to you on July 6th, copy of which was forwarded to you by Mrs. Parker to Paris. He told me that he would sail for Europe on August 11th and would like to know whether he should take that cross along for delivery to you in Paris. He would very much appreciate hearing from you by cable. His cable address is: PIERTOZZI NEWYORK

Very faithfully yours,

O.A. Liechti
