Dear Mr. Séligmann:
MRS. JAMES SELIGMAN: -- We returned to her the little rug which we had restored and cleaned for account through Bayenderian. I also
sent her our invoice in the sum of $90, as per estimate rendered.
MORGAN GREENFELL & CO. -- Please find appended Reconcilement of our Account with them, showing a balance in our favour of b 1. 3.1 which I find to be correct. Will you kindly sign and return it in the enclosed, self-addressed envelope.
MR. LEVY -- Left for Tahiti on July 19th.
                                         July 21st, 1939
PURCHASES OF MR. HIGGINS -- I received his check in the sum of $ 5, 000 in full payment, which I have forwarded to Mr. Miller. All
these objects will be picked up at Roslyn by Brown on July 24th and shipped by that his truck to Worcester, arriving on the following day, as arranged between Mr. Higgins and ourselves. Mr. Higgins assumes the entire cost of this shipment in the sum of
$177.15, which he confirmed in writing.
DUNCAN PHILLIPS -- As I advised you by cable, he is at present in California and will not return until the end of September. I, therefore, did nothing futher in this respect.
WORLD´S FAIR -- I discussed this proposition with Mr. Robbins and he was of the opinion to wait for futher instructions from you regarding my letter of July 13th asking whether you would eventually be willing to insure the two paintings on our own policy. All that events, I called up the responsible
party and told him that I did not have any news from you yet, but that I expected to hear from you within the next few days.
