Mr. Germain Seligmann
3 East 51st Street
New York City

Dear Mr. Seligmann:

We hope that you have enjoyed the privileges extended to you as a member of the Ballet Guild during this past year; attending a rehearsal of the ballet at the Metropolitan Opera House, the cocktail party at the Hotel St. Regis to meet the company of the Ballets de Monte-Carlo, the talk given by Irving Deakin on the "History of the Ballet," and most recently, the Ballet Ball at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel.

As you know part of your contribution to the Ballet Guild is to be used for the annual production of a new ballet on an American theme, to be chosen by a national competition.

We hope that you will want to renew your membership in the Ballet Guild, thus enabling us to continue the work, which thanks to your active support, we have been able to undertake.

Enclosed herewith is a statement for dues for the 1939-40 season and we sincerely hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity to assure us of your future support.

Very truly yours,

BALLET GUILD, INC.

Nicolas de Gunzburg
Secretary-Treasurer

I do so hope that you will help us again this year --
