SATURDAY MARCH 9, 1940
at 7:30 P.M.
THE WALDORF-ASTORIA
New York

Things are moving so fast....streamlined divisions....new weapons....all the developments abroad....and people's interests vary so much with events, that almost any subject may be at the disposal of our speakers. Everything so far seems to be a phase in something, God knows what, and sympathies of the nonce may be outmoded three months hence. We guarantee nothing, but we expect to have two speakers who will talk "off the record."

Your Committeemen are planning regimental luncheons and other appropriate entertainment before and after the Dinner to make it the "best" of what is now quite a series. You will hear from them in due course. Meanwhile, since you are not one of those who "shot their load in the last war and haven't been worth a damn since", we know you will fill out and return the enclosed card for our records.

Naturally we hope you are coming, so don't forget to pin your check to the card. Whether you have to spend considerable time the ensuing week learning what milk of magnesia does to humans is your problem!
