DEAR SIRS:

at 8:30 on Saturday, may 31st, the curtain will rise on a new experiment in art presentation. you are one of the forty people being invited to witness and partake in this experiment.

until now the methods of presenting paintings have remained traditional, as compared with strides made in modern art. for the past two decades there has been an urgent need for departure in this field.

our experiment may answer this problem so simply, you will wonder why it has never been done before. the idea is practical and can be adopted easily by museums, galleries and art collectors.

the curtain will rise exactly 8:30 p.m. the experiment ends at 10:10 p.m., - then coffee.

please indicate on the enclosed card whether or not you intend to be present, and if you should like to bring another party who would be interested. i [[I]] am enclosing a self-addressed envelope for your reply.

sincerely yours,
Dan Harris
