AMERICAN MUSEUM OF HEALTH FLUSHING MEADOW PARK NEW YORK CITY March 15, 1941 Mr. Germain Séligmann 3 East 51st Street New York, N.Y. Dear Mr. Séligmann: On behalf of the Board of Directors of the American Museum of Health, may I express our gratification at your acceptance of Mayor LaGuardia´s invitation to serve as a member of the Citizens Sponsoring Committee. I trust that your service on this Committee will be a source of great satisfaction to you. Those of us who have witness the growth of the museum from a mere idea several years ago to its present high degree of accomplishment share with the Mayor the belief that the Museum will become one of the city´s permanent and important agencies of mass health education. So that you will understand and share some of our enthusiasm for the Museum, I am sending you herewith a copy of its latest report, covering the World´s Fair Years of 1939 and 1940. We shall welcome any comments you may care to make about this report, or any phase of the work of the Museum. Sincerely yours, Louis I. Dublin Louis I. Dublin Chairman of the Board
