February 19th., 1941.

Dear Mayor La Guardia;

Your letter of February 10th., addressed to Mr. Germain Séligmann, arrived a few days after he had left for a rest in Arizona.

However, I forwarded it to him there, where he has been ill ever since his arrival. Because of this he has been unable to thank you personally for your invitation to join the Citizen Sponsoring Committee of the American Museum of Health, but has asked me to express to you his willingness to be on the Committee and his appreciation of your kind invitation.

Yours very truly,

Secretary to Mr. Germain Séligmann
