Dear Kit:

This is a thousand concentrated apologies - for sending you a typewritten note and also not having been able to talk to you over the phone to thank you for your very charming invitation.

The past two days have been so hectic that I hardly have been at my desk, this being due to my leaving tomorrow for several weeks.

I do hope you will understand, and with kindest thoughts to you and all your dear ones, and saying "a bientôt", I am,

Most faithfully yours,

(Germain Séligmann)
