New York, New York.

Attention Mr. George Cullum.

Dear Sirs:
These lines are to confirm my conversation of this morning with Mr. Cullum, in the course of which I told him that upon the expiration of my present lease on September 30th., 1941, I will renew it at the rental of $1500., per annum - payable at the rate of $125., per month.

There are naturally a few alterations, repairs, etc., which I would want made and which could be carried out during the Summer. Among these are -

REPAINTING of the radiator covers and woodwork around windows which has been discolored by the steam-heat.
REPAINTING of the door leading to the main hallway.

REPAIRS:
Bathroom washbasin taps - One of these particularly, leaks where the faucet joins the basin or around the handle.

The metal towel tack over the tub is to be fastened securely to the wall (at present it is loose).

The present spaces between the floor and two of the doors to be filled up by putting a strip along the bottom under edge of the door (I do not want door-sills).

There are probably some other minor repairs to be carried out but which escape my mind at the moment.

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Seligmann)
