October 16th., 1942.

Dear Mr. Schlee:

Would you be good enough to be my ambassador and ask Miss Garbo whether she would give me the pleasure of dining with me on Wednesday evening, the 28th? - and I would, of course, like also to have you and Mrs. Schlee join us.

I am giving a small dinner party, very international in spirit and composition, at the "Maisonette", St. Regis, and would enjoy it so much if you three could join us.

Looking forward to this pleasure and with personal regards,

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Séligmann)
