Dear Marion:

It doesn´t look any too friendly to send you a typewritten note, but I am in New York for only a few hours and I do want to tell you how disappointed I was yesterday not to be able to reach you.

I had gone to Washington for a hearing (about one of my nephews who is in a concentration camp in Spain) at the State Department, for which I was
summoned for 9: o´clock, and got through at 12:30-fearing this, I didn´t get in touch with you earlier. However ere long I may be returning to the Capital and hope then to have a g[[strikethrough]] r [[strikethrough]]limpse of you.

With the kindest thoughts,

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Séligmann)

Mrs. Marion Wasserman,
2435 Tracy Place,
