March 27th., 1943.

My dear Mr. Ben-Ami:

I attended the meeting of March 15th., at Waldorf and was most impressed by your reading of Mr Hecht's poem. Therefore, I wrote a little while ago to Mr. Billy Rose asking for copies of several of the speeches and of the poem, as I want personally to approach some of my friends who remain aloof and seemingly indifferent.

As we are cooperating towards the same end, I trust you will not mind the liberty I am thus taking, and that if possible you will send me several copies of Mr. Hecht's poem.

Thanking you in anticipation,

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Séligmann)
