November 27, 1945

Dear Mr. Wadsworth:

Pursuant to your telephone conversation with Mr. Liechti of my office, you will kindly make arrangements to pay to the debit of my personal account with you the sum of escudos, 28.55, (twenty-eight and 55/100 escudos) to Agence Commerciale Française, A. Vincent, Lda., 56 Rua Ivens, Lisbon, Portugal.

It is my understanding that you are aware of the answer I received from the Federal Reserve Bank, dated November 24,1945, in connection with this transaction, a copy of which you will find enclosed herein.

The above indebtedness dates back to August 1941 and represents shipping expense of food parcels from Portugal to France made for my account through the above firm.

Thanking you,

Very truly yours,

(Germain Seligman)
