October 11th, 1945

Gentlemen:

Mr. Germain Seligman received your circular letter regarding shipment of food parcels to France, together with a note stating he he is indebted to you in the sum of Esc: 25.05.

He is at a loss to understand this as on your official detailed statement of August 29th, 1941, there appears a debit balance of Esc: 1.30 only, which for the very reason that it is such a nominal amount he was not able to settle through the channels at his disposal.

Will you be good enough to explain this difference to Mr. Seligman?

Yours very truly,

(O. A. Liechti)
