Dear Mr. de Rochemont:

The most impressive book published by "France Forever" - "L'Effort de la France" - has just reached me and I hasten to thank you for it.

I am particularly appreciative of your personal inscription.

At an epoch when the whole world is in the throes of skepticism and doubt, this publication which should give hope in the future of France and of its everlasting vitality, is particularly timely.

I enjoyed so very much the evening we spent together with Miss Edith Sachs, and trust that ere long we may be able to meet again.

With renewed thanks and personal regards,

Sincerely,

(Germain Seligman)
