Dear Germain:

I had a call from de Koenigsberg's secretary who tells me that she has received a wire from him asking to receive the photographs of the SISLEY and BOUDINS that I showed to Mr. de Tella.

There is no problem from the SISLEY as it is sold, but the two BOUDIN are here. I have a very strong tendency to the fact that de Tella's did not come back to give her the photograph of "Douarnenez" for which I asked at the time $5500. You may recall we ask for it $4800, and not the photograph of the "Beach Scene" for which I asked $3200 and which is marked for $3200. Please wire.

I just sent you the following wire: "FRIEND BOBBY MITCHELL FORMERLY BOSTON SEES HIM TONIGHT URGES ME CONTACT HIM IMMEDIATELY WIRE AGREEMENT."

I had this morning the visit of Henry Clifford's friend Jeffries, who having seen three SEURAT drawings that I had shown to Clifford, become enthusiastic and told me I should call right away A. A. Mitchell, that he sees him tonight and that he is going to talk to him tonight; that Mitchell could be also interested in PANNINI and 18th century paintings and drawings. I feel as I cabled to you that it is urgent to act in order to take the opportunity of the enthusiasm which would be received by Jeffries.

Sincerely yours,

(Georges E. Seligmann)
