Arranging for immunizations

Military personnel or civilian employees subject to field service with the armed forces may obtain inoculations and vaccinations from the Medical Department of the Branch of the Service concerned, and should obtain a certificate showing the date of the inoculation.

Persons not connected with the armed forces may secure yellow fever inoculations at the offices of the United States Public Health Service in New York, Washington, Miami, New Orleans, Brownsville, Baltimore, Chicago or Los Angeles, or from general dispensaries, and should obtain a certificate showing the date of inoculation. Smallpox, typhus and cholera inoculations may be obtained from the places just mentioned or from general hospitals, army and navy dispensaries, or private physicians, and a certificate showing the date of the inoculation should be obtained.
