Gentlemen:

Re: Apartment 8A - 47 East 61st Street

I wish to notify you that for the past few months, Mr. Germain Seligman has called to the attention of your superintendent the defective functioning of the centre ceiling light fixture in his bedroom.

When working the switch, it is only after considerable delay that a flickering light is produced. Last night it finally went out altogether.

In spite of Mr. Seligman's continued complaints, nothing has been done, to his knowledge, to remedy this faulty condition. You will understand that this situation is not only very disagreeable but in my opinion there exists a definite danger of a short circuit.

Thanking you for giving the above your immediate attention,

Yours very truly,

(O. A. Liechti)
