Dear Mr. Seligman:

On receipt of your cabled instructions to arrange for insurance of your car with Lloyds of London, I immediately wired them to that effect, and I trust that their answer, which I relayed to you immediately, will enable you to conclude this matter satisfactorily directly through Kingston. I am sorry I could not be of more help.

Mr. Georges left on his vacation today.

Nesi-I am forwarding to him today, as previously arranged, the little RENOIR Landscape by first-class mail.

COROT "Dunkerque" was retuned by Miss Testut.

Macomber & Company mailed confirmation that they insured Mrs. Seligman's sapphire ring in the amount of $700.- on your personal floater, as requested.

Mr. Peck sends me a letter dated June 29th, together with complete list of personal objects to be sold at auction, a copy of which is enclosed.

As regards Gobin - you will remember that we sold the jointly-owned watercolor by RENOIR, of which his one-half share amounted to $187.93, which are deposited to a blocked account at the Fifth Avenue Bank of New York. What answer shall I give Peck in this respect?

I wish to call to your attention that with respect to your personal works of art which now are at Pottier to be shipped to New York, I have not as yet instructed Lloyds to issue a special policy. Shall I proceed?

Mr. Chadbourne paid interest on his indebtness for the six months ending June 30th in the sum of $17.50, as well as a payment on account against the principal in the sum of $200.-, as per enclosed copy of letter. According to our original arrangement, he is supposed to pay annually a sum of $500. six months after cessation of hostilities. Mr. Robbins, whom I consulted in this matter, tells me that Chadbourne might have a good arguing point and I, therefore, acknowledged receipt of such remittance without mentioning, however, that it was in conformity with our agreement. I shall take up this matter with you on your return.

Mrs. Dickerman remitted her check for $24.25 in payment of insurance premiums for the FRAGONARD, as agreed.

Hoping that you & Mrs. Seligman are having a great holiday
Sincerely
O.A. Liechti
