July 2nd., 1946.

My dear Dr. Frankfurterr

Your letter of July 1st., on behalf of the United Jewish Appeal, and addressed to Mr. Germain Seligman, has been opened by me in his absence.

Mr. Seligman was in town for a few hectic days between his return from Paris and his wedding last week, but now is away again and not expected back until the early days of September.

I shall of course bring it to his attention then.

Yours very truly,

Secretary to Mr. Germain Seligman.
