PIETRO SMIDERLE - We received the following communication from the American Consul General: (June 9, 1947) "The receipt is acknowledged of your letter dated May 15, 1947, with further reference to your desire to communicate with one Pietro Smiderle, a local notary. This office was advised by telephone today by Mr. Pietro Smiderle that he is not familiar with the details of the business relating to the frescoes but is endeavoring to obtain information on the subject from Avv.
