Dear Mr. Seligman:

I have just had a call from Miss Wittler of Knoedler's in regard to the request she made a few weeks ago, for a number of the plates from the two catalogues of our Picasso exhibitions.

She asked for the following: "Picasso Blue and Rose Periods - 1901-1906"

No. 3 "Harlequin Propped on Elbow"
No. 14 "Woman Crouching"
No. 21 "Boy with Collar"
No. 22 "Lay with a Fan"
No. 19 "Blue Boy"
No. 28 "The Harem"
No. 31 "The Woman with the Loaves"

Of the smaller cuts:

No. 4 "Early Morning"
No. 22 "Woman Dressing with Harlequin and Child"
No. 29 "The Toilette"
No. 25 "Head of Woman with Hair falling down Back"

From "20 Years in the Evolution of Picasso" 1903-1923":

No. 2 "Le Meneur de Cheval"

They need the plates as soon as possible, and in order to expedite matter, Mr. Liechti has suggested that I enclose the following authorization to the Manhattan Warehouse Co., enabling him to withdraw the plates, where they now are.

With best regards to Mrs. Seligman and to you,

Sincerely yours,
Eleanor Bazner
