Dear Mr. Seligmann,

I thank you for your favor of the 26th April and apologize for owing to illness not having acknowledged receipt before now.

As you assume, I still have some impressive canvases in my collection, but have not yet decided whether I in view of the present conditions will part with one or another. Dollar, naturally, is a desireable [[desirable]] currency these days, but of course everything depends on the prices obtainable, and my previous impression is, if you will permit me to say so, that you are very careful in your valuations.

Yours very sincerely,
(Signed J.B. Stang)
