GS Personal

June 3rd., 1947

Dear Armand:

Ever so many thanks for your letter of May 13th.

Inasmuch as I have not heard from F.G., in connection with the motor-car, I would be extremely obliged to you if you would care to order the car we corresponded about.

As it is difficult by plane to set an exact date of arrival, I would be of the opinion of requesting the chauffer to communicate with the Ritz from June 13th. on, in order to inquire whether we have arrived, and if so to report at once with the car. He could, let us say, call up twice a day, morning and afternoon.

In fact, as tempting from every possible angle as F.G.'s suggestion may or could be, I definitely prefer having a car which will be entirely at Ethlyne's and my service, enabling us, thus, to move around as we please.

Furthermore, I do not want our presence to be a burden to anyone, in any respect.

I do also want to take advantage of this letter to renew my appreciation for reiterating your very kind invitation to use the firm's galleries during my stay.

We are both much looking forward to seeing you both soon, and,

with kindest thoughts,

Sincerely yours,

(Germain Seligman)
