The president of our firm, Mr. Germain Seligman, has not been in England since 1939 at which time, having been retained by the firm of attorneys, Davis Polk Wardwell Sunderland & Kiendl, executors of the Estate of the late Clarence H. Mackay, he organized at Christie, Manson & Woods, Ltd., Derby House, Stratford Place, London W.1, England, an auction of part of that collection.
