Dear Mr. Peck:

I was very pleased to read in your letter of October 21st, that 8 cases containing items belonging to Mr. G.S. will go forward per SS. De Grasse leaving Le Havre on Nov. 4 next.

For purposes of insurance would you be kind enough to let me know the date when this shipment left Paris and for U.S. Customs requirements, the amount in Ffrs. indicated on the Bill of Lading accompanying the despatch. The whole shipment is of course as you informed de la Rancheraye, fully insured by us.

Your news re the 3 modern paintings and the antique Pistolet is terribly disappointing but we trust that this matter which for some altogether unexplicable reason has been delayed so long, will shortly be settled.

With many thanks for help and best personal regards,

Sincerely

O. A. Liechti

P.S. Would you be good enough to see de la Rancheraye again for the purposes of getting these new shipments expedited. Thank you
