Dear Mr. Elmiger:

These are just a few lines to tell you how sorry I was not to have had the pleasure of seeing you again before leaving Paris.

The information I first received from flying reports was such that I felt sure we would remain in Paris for another day or two, but surprisingly enough we did fly off according to schedule.

May I convey Mrs. Seligman's and my own thanks for the good care you took of us, and let me say again how much we enjoyed the many courtesies of your Hotel.

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Seligman)
