Hotel Ascona
Ascona, Switzerland

July 13, 1947

Dear Liechti:

I thank you for your letter of July 7th. At the present writing we have not yet heard from the American Express.

Picasso plates. I am truly distressed to hear of these missing plates and it shows you that it is certainly high time you injected into these matters your usual sense and spirit of order and method.

Bloomingdale's. Mrs. Seligman tells me it is all right to pay it. So please do so but let me have the details of the account when I come back.

Letters from Dr. Markowitz. Please open them - they may be bills, I hope they are receipted ones, but if not, he will have to wait until we return.

Switzerland is even more beautiful than I remembered it!

With best regards-
Sincerely
Rei
