Dear Mr. Seligman:

I went to the Frick Library and the Public Library last week to look up the GIRARDETS. I was unable to find any reproductions of the paintings from which these drawings were made, but found reproductions of two of the engravings: "Talleyrand" and "Le Duc de Montpensier", and a reproduction of a small study, possibly oil, for the painting of "Talleyrand" by GERARD.

We received a catalogue from Dr. Heil of the Young Memorial Museum in San Francisco; exhibition of works by "EL GRECO", for which I wrote a note of thanks.

I heard a rumor the other day that there was going to be a large auction of works by Gustave DORE in August; where it is supposed to be I have not been able to find out yet. I called Art News and Art Digest and several of the auction galleries, but no one seemed to know anything about it yet. I don't know if it is important, but I will try again in a few days.

Best regards to Mrs. Seligman and to you,

Sincerely yours,

(Eleanor Bazner)
