Dear Mr. Seligman:

Enclosed is a copy, photostat, of the "Ordonnance" re: Spoliations" which you asked me to send - a letter from Mrs. Parker, and one from Mr. Liechti.

There is a letter this morning from Mr. Hayward's secretary, confirming the work to be done on the painting, which I acknowledged receipt of. We keep the painting until the work has been done.

Also a letter from Mr. Davis about the framing, i.e. costs, billing, and suggestions, which I shall give you when you return. He thanks you for all your letters, and says he is not in any particular hurry for his prints and drawing.

"Mr. McMillan and Russell seem to like your Bonnard (Yellow Screen), Vuillard (Mansarde), and La Fresnaye (14th. of July) very much. I plan to bring up the first two while they remember them well".

"I am terribly sorry to hear you have not been well. I recommend E.J.S. taking you south. In case you are away or going, don't worry about my frames. And, in any case, if I don't have the time to write again before Christmas, the best of everything to you both. Ever sincerely."/I have acknowledged Mr. Davis and told him I was holding his letter for your return.

I called Parke-Bernet for a catalogue of the Pach Auction, and they have not received it yet themselves; sometime next week. When I receive it I will send it right off to you.

While I was looking among the Mackay records and other photos in the storeroom, I found photographs of the small Italian bronzes re Dr. P. which you wrote to F.G. about a few days ago. Two Roccatagliata; the Maffeo Olliverieri; the inkstand; and the Marcus Aurelius.
