Dear Mr. [[strikethrough]] Sullivan: [[/strikethrough]]

For some years no Mr. Liechti and I have been discussing various insurance plans by means of which you might establish savings in taxes for your estate.

Mr. Liechti has in turn discussed these plans with you. One plan is to save on your personal estate taxes by means of rearranging your present insurance. We have been very successful in saving large sums of money for many persons of great wealth by use of this plan. Incidentally, it costs you nothing to put this plan into effect.

The second plan which Mr. Liechti and I have discussed the advantage and advisability of is an arrangement by which insurance on your life could be owned by your company. This offers a method of business protection which is gaining wide acceptance today inasmuch as in many cases it amount to buying insurance at a cost of fifty cents on the dollar.

Since this matter has awaited consummation for over three years, I feel that it is most important for you to rid yourself of some of your estate tax liability and if saving a large amount of is of interest to you, I will be glad to see you personally, if you will let me know when it will be convenient.

Very truly yours,

Richard Barlow.
