Seligman - 2

July 9, 1948

R. M. COE: No news. Mailed invoice June 22, 1948.

PEDIGREE - VASQUE: Apparently Mr. Peck cannot help us, judging from the appended copy of his letter of July 6, 1948.

CHADBOURNE sent us a check for $13.50 representing half-yearly interest on his indebtedness. As usual he forgot to make a payment on account of $200.-, and I phoned, also as usual, to his secretary to remind him of it.

A lady by the name of Madame Devigne came in to inquire whether we had some modern paintings on exhibition. I gave her the usual explanation. Before leaving she wrote a little note, copy of which I am enclosing herein. It seems that she is also an art critic. She will sail for Europe within the next few days.

Sincerely yours,
O.A. Liechti
