Gentlemen:

RE: Mr. Germain Seligman
47 East 61st Street
Apartment 8A

Mr. Germain Seligman will appreciate, while his apartment is being repainted, your also replacing his kitchen stove which, not only is leaking but is otherwise also in a deplorable condition.

Your building superintendent is familiar with this situation, as he had been advised repeatedly in the past of these various defects, but as he pointed out to us then, no replacement could be made due to the existing shortages of household appliances which we feel now should be relieved.

At the same time, may I also ask you to adjust the bedroom window which, when raised, does not stay in place. The same condition applies to the kitchen window.

Please also tighten and adjust the bathroom fixtures, all of which are more or less leaking.
