Dear Mr. Seligmann:

Miss Jacqueline Seligmann has advised me that you have indicated to Mr. Armand Seligmann that you would be perfectly willing for this office to examine the files at the Swiss Bank Corporation for information respecting the securities which were shipped to New York for your account by the Swiss Bank, Geneva, in July 1940. Accordingly, I have prepared, and enclosed, a draft of letter of authorization which I ask you to be good enough to have transcribed on your letterhead, signed and returned to me.

I have spoken to Mr. Galton of Benjamin, Galton & Robbins, about this matter, and it is with his approval that I am sending this letter to you.

Very truly yours,

Richard Reiss
