Dear Mr. Seligman:

I trust that you had an uneventful passage to Paris and that you find your quarters at the Westminster to your entire satisfaction.

The reason why you already hear from me is that I am guilty of a "whopper". In last Monday's rush I deposited the Kansas City check of $24,000.- erroneously with the Fifth Avenue Bank instead of with J.P. Morgan & Co., Inc.

I am, therefore, in order to transfer this amount, enclosing check for the same sum drawn on the Fifth Avenue Bank to the order of J.P. Morgan, which I would ask you to kindly sign and return to me.

I really have no excuse; I made a mistake.

DENVER MUSEUM returned in good condition the small Delaunay.

KNOEDLER returned in good condition our three Seurats. They kept the "Port de Honfleur" which we own jointly with them. Shall I claim it from them?

[] no - leave it with them []

KUNSTHAUS, ZURICH I am enclosing for your approval draft of letter to be written eventually to Dr. Wartmann with respect to the Degas "Danseuses au Foyer".

Sincerely yours,
O. A. Liechti
