Germain Seligman - 2 O.A.L. #11 June 10, 1949

I am also enclosing cable addressed to Mrs. Seligman which was delivered after her departure.

MR. NESI came in. He tells me that he is quite satisfied with the way his business has been going, that he has made a great many interesting contacts as a result of the sales he organized, and that for the coming season he intends to hold about six in various cities.

He tells me further that he is on the track of two very important Cezanne oils from the Vollard Collection, a landscape and a portrait, which might be for sale, but when I tried to get some more information, he shut up like a clam; ditto, an important Rembrandt sold years ago for a very large amount by Howard Young.

He intends to remain in this city until June 29th and wishes to be remembered to you.

I must say that he looks very well and seems to be in much better spirits than I have seen his during the last few years.

I hope that Mrs. Seligman has a good trip and with best wishes
Sincerely yours
O.A. Liechti
