Dear Germain:
NATHAN of ST. GALLEN came in looking for a Bonnard figure, and/or an early Renoir, and/or a Degas. I did not show him the goup of dancers; as a matter of fact, no Degas at all.
He is here until the 11th of June, when he flies home. He is going to stay ten days in Switzerland and then move around.
In conclusion, I was not able to show him anything of interest; perhaps he will have something of interest for us if you happen to be in Switzerland when he himself will be there. He told me he had a Renoir landscape of 1872 for which he is asking 18,000.-. which he does not want to sell for the time being.
He is here with Bernoulli.
