Dear Mr. Bernheim:

We thank you for your letter of June 7, 1949 giving us the requested particulars regarding the return shipment to you in Paris of the paintings which you had given us on consignment for sale, and which will have our best attention.

The large Monet "Jardin de Monet" which, as you know, is hanging in an out-of-town exhibition, is expected back at our galleries at the very earliest on or about July 15th, and taking into consideration the time required for packing and the export formalities, etc., the cases should be ready for shipment approximately one week after that date, when we shall of course communicate with you anew.
