Paris, May 3I, 1949

Dear Miss Bazner,

I thank you for your letters of May I9, 2I and 27. I did not write you any earlier as, as soon as I was back from London, I had to start for another trip.

I know how much Mrs Bachrach first "one man exhibition" means to you and want to congratulate you and when you will have an opportunity to convey to Mrs. Bachrach how pleased I was to hear of this great news.

Thanks for the Lee letter and answer and I am also glad to hear of Mr. Bruce's letter.

Mr. Carpentier, on the other hand; does not mean a thing to me and has never been interested in paintings by Bernard Lamotte, so that I really have no idea what this may mean and have no time; I am afraid, to go and see him.

I noticed that I have had no list of visitors or telephone calls since your letter of May I9. Of course, it may all have been taken care of by my cousin's, as well as Mrs. Parker's letters, which I could not judge.

Writing about lists, in your next letter, will you be good enough to let me know what procedure is beeing followed, what have you started with and how will you continue?
