Dear Miss Bazner,

Many thanks for your letter nÂș 2 of May 16. May I call to your attention that you write you are including a letter from Mr. Lee, as well as a copy of Mrs. Parker's answer to him ; but neither one nor the other were to be found in the envelop. Do let me have them in due time.

I have also received the photograph of the Bellini portrait. You can tell your friend Mr. Smith that it is certainly a pretty bad one and which can do more harm to trying to sell the painting than good.

I was certainly glad to read that you were through with the lists and you, in turn, must have had a deep sigh of relief.

With best greatings,

Sincerely
