Paris, May 18, 1949

Dear Miss Bazner,

Many thanks for your letter no 1 of May 12. In fact, answering your questions, I had a most beautiful trip across, perhaps the smoothest I ever had.

The news that the list is at last finished, pleases me no end!

I have truly nothing to add or comments to make to the answers you sent : they are all perfect ; but do keep all these letters together, as some of them I will have to answer when I return.

You have most probably made a note of "for the autumn" of writing to Professor Spitzer, at John Hopkins?

I am so busy, rushing around, that I have very little time, I am sorry to say, to write any real letter.

With all good wishes,
Sincerely yours,
GS
