Dear Mr. Seligman:

I received your notes of May 13, 1949 (added to my letter to you of May 11,1949) returning the transfer check in the sum of $24,000.- drawn on the Fifth Avenue Bank which I deposited immediately with J.P.Morgan & Co., Inc., as well as corrected draft to Switzerland.

PHOTOGRAPH - SMALL BELLINI enclosed as requested.

CARTIER - Delivered the box for the little head. It fits perfectly and really is a beautiful job.

BOOKBINDER delivered the seven books which you had turned over to him for binding, and which I am keeping here wrapped up for your inspection in July. I find his work very satisfactory.

PARKE-BERNET - Took delivery of the three items I purchased last Saturday, and which I put away in the office safe.

Requested Mr. Robbins to transfer, against reserve at J.P.Morgan & Co.,Inc., to the O.A.Liechti Cashier Account #1 with the Fifth Avenue Bank the sum of $1,525.- in payment thereof.

I am giving you below a summary of our purchases:

May 12th   Gothic figure "Virgin and Child"   $ 275.--
May 14th   Mosan enamel Knop (2 pieces)   650.--
May 14th   Three Mosan enamel plaquettes   600.--
May 14th   Pectoral   275.--
Total Purchases   $1,800.--

against which you had left a reserve with Mr. Robbins of ... $3,350.--

MRS. OTTO H. KAHN - I am appending clipping about her death in London.

FOGG MUSEUM - sent us their invoice for their services in connection with the French Primitive in the sum of $135.20, which I paid. We did not receive the ultra-violet photograph.

Mr. Arthur Bradley Campbell came in to see Mr. Georges; purchased a copy of your book on Seurat. I deposited the $15.- with your "Special Account" at Bankers Trust Company.
