Monsieur:

I am in receipt of your letter of April 28th., with the renting prices for motors with chauffeur for which I thank you.

The car I would want with a chauffeur should be a very small one, as I shall be alone, and my calls will be strictly limited to the confines of the city, at least at the beginning of my stay.

I surmise thus that the price you quoted of 4,500 francs should apply (plus 10% for the chauffeur).

Now, as regards the hours, I do not expect to have any use for the car until 9:30 or 10:00 in the morning, and I am wondering whether accordingly I could be given an extra hour at night?

I feel, however, that these details can all be definitely settled upon my arrival, which should be May 12th., at 9:30 A.M. at the Hotel Westminster where I shall be stopping. I intend leaving New York by plane on May 10th.

As I would not be in a position to advise you about possible delays, I would be obliged to you for communicating with Mr. Armand Seligmann who was good enough to request you to write to me.

Thanking you in advance for your cooperation,

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Seligman)
