Dear F.G.:

ROBERT: This morning's mail brings me a note from our friend, Robert, evidently before he received my letter, stating that he will be at his Paris home on November 1st., for a period of a week or ten days, and he adds that I "may perhaps wish to transmit my communication to him through my brother". Thus, if you have not done anything yet to follow up my letter of October 15, you may prefer waiting until he is in Paris which I think would be more reasonable under the circumstances, as by then he would probably have calmed down and will not be as disagreeable.

COYSEVOX: This is just to let you know that I have resumed my conversations about the Coysevox busts, and am asking you therefore to be good enough to post me about any steps you may be taking in connection with them. Should you have shown them to any other American museums I would like you to let me know, the prices you quoted, as the only one I have quoted so far is the one we had agreed upon, namely $25,000 (twenty-five thousand dollars).

If at some time or other you had time to send me a few lines, telling me how you all are, I would greatly appreciate it.

By the way, did you ever get in touche with Beatrice Cartwright, and what transpired?

  With much love,

Yours,

(Germain Seligman)
