September 12th., 1949

Dear Jerry:

What great news the announcement of your marriage brings to us, and we both wish to send you our heartiest congratulations and sincerest wishes for happiness.

We are both most desirous to attend the wedding ceremonies, but fear that this shall not be possible, having been away from New York for a great many months, and Ethlyne's new courses at N.Y.U. just starting next week.

Should we not be able to go up to Glens Falls, do know that our thoughts will be with you, and we do hope that were long we shall have the great pleasure of seeing you both here, and having the privilege of meeting your wife.

Meanwhile, with kindest thoughts in which Ethlyne joins,

Most sincerely yours,

Germain Seligman
