Dear Mr. Seligman:

Upon my arrival at the galleries this morning, I found your cable reading as follows:
ADVISE GEORGES AM MAILING AUTHORIZATION, which I immediately took care of.

BANKERS TRUST COMPANY SPECIAL ACCOUNT - Deposited dividend check of General Electric in the sum of $50.-(Fifty dollars).

ALBRIGHT ART GALLERY, BUFFALO MUSEUM OF ART - We finally received the check in the sum of $6,750.-(Six thousand seven hundred fifty dollars) in payment of the second installment due on the two marble statutes by Pompeo Leoni, which I deposited with J.P.Morgan & Co.,Inc. I am enclosing a copy of the Museum's letter as well as my answer thereto.

STORA - In view of the above, I sent him the check of $250.-(Two hundred fifty dollars) signed by you prior to your departure, being in full payment of the balance of his one-third interest, as per appended copy of my letter and credit note. (Del'd by hand)

MARCEL GUIOT - I received certificate of Scholler for "La Passagère" as per enclosed copy of Guiot's letter dated July 23, 1949; also my answer to him. I am holding this certificate in my files for your return.

I just received your two letters of July 21, 1949 (second mail), and I want to thank you for your kind words of sympathy about my bersitis, which I am happy to say seems to be coming along very satisfactorily. I shall not fail to ask my doctor about the high voltage x-ray treatments which you recommend and which helped you so very much. So far he has been "subjecting" me to two injections every second day.

I duly received and thank you for the authorization to withdraw "certain paintings" from our vault at the Manhattan Warehouse (Spanish Primitive).

I was very glad indeed that you finally received two cases. As you suggest, we shall address all communications to you in the future as below:

CANEEL BAY PLANTATION
%VIRGIN ISLANDS TOURS
ST. THOMAS
VIRGIN ISLANDS, U.S.A.

(and not to St. John).

PROFESSOR DEVRIES - I am airmailing him a copy of the letter from Avocato Biffi, as per copy of my letter enclosed.

ZWEMMER GALLERY - I am forwarding to you in the enclosure, as specified, the photographs received from them, and for your guidance you will find herein a copy of your fiche in this connection dated July 9, 1949, which you had left with us prior to your departure.

BERGES - Duly noted and shall follow it up.

PHILADELPHIA MUSEUM - The photographs which you had wanted did arrive and are held for your return by Miss Bazner. (Please refer to her letter of July 20, 1949).
