Germain Seligman - 2 O.A.L.#3 July 25, 1949

MAIL LIST - As requested, I am enclosing list of all the letters that were mailed during your brief stay in New York. They were established on hand of the "green copies" and cross-checked with the "yellow copies."

LIST OF CLIENTS - You had not spoken to me on this topic but Miss Bazner mentioned to me last week that she had received instructions in this respect from Mrs. Parker after your departure. However, Miss Bazner was under the impression that you wished to have said list of all our clients up to date and I am therefore glad that you gave me such clear cut indications (going backward from 1932).

These records will be finished by the end of this week, and as I am not leaving New York for at least another week or ten days, shall I send them on to you?

In this connection I wish to remind you that I have here in my records a Paris list headed "Clients deputies le per Janvier 1913", (I believe it was established by Mr. Fischer), which I am also holding for your return.

GAUGUIN CATALOG - was received this morning and I am writing, as requested, to Miss Claudine Fulda, as per enclosed copy of letter.

VACATION - As per your instructions, the galleries will officially close this coming Friday, July 29, 1949, and re-open the day after Labor Day, September 6th. Before such closing date, I shall, of course, deposit the balance of the paintings with the Manhattan Storage & Warehouse Co.

DUBOURG - I thank you for sending his letter about postponing shipment of the Gauguin until September, which I shall, of course, follow up.

PELTRIE - I am writing to him as requested and as per copy of my letter.appended.

PERLES - I wrote to him as instructed and as per copy of letter attached. I had several copies made of said note.

LEFEBVRE-FOINET I am very much disappointed that we shall not receive the two Frudhons as well as the two Toulouse-Lautrecs before September (noted for follow up). I have written this firm as per your suggestion and as per copy of letter appended. I am very glad, however, that they shipped your books and the two ebony buses and shall be here in plenty of time to receive them for your account.

TABLE SETTINGS BY POUIFOCAT - In view of its value, I removed it from your apartment to the gallery where I shall keep it in one of our safes until September.

MUSEUM OF MODERN ART - Am enclosing a clipping from the N.Y. July 27, 1949 herald Tribune, July 26th, about their purchase of a Picasso from Rosenberg.

SPECIAL CREDIT - MR. ROBBINS I requested him to transfer the sum of $152.- (One hundred fifty two dollars) as per enclosed copy of letter and statement of unforeseen payments.

JOSE Y VIEIRA - I am enclosing copy of letter received today (opened for customs examination) from Mr. Jose Y Vieira, together with photograph of a painting he is offering for sale; also my answer to him. I was rather reluctant to forward said photograph to you, but since this gentleman wants a prompt answer and as this picture might interest you, I thought it best to do so.

R.S. DAVIS - MINNEAPOLIS - Am appending copy of his letter of July 22, 1949. After con-
