Dear Mr. Bernheim:

Reverting to our letter of June 22, 1949, please be informed that we are returning to you per SS "America" leaving New York on July 27, 1949, one case containing the following paintings which you had left with us on consignment for sale:

MONET "Chrysanthemums"
MONET "Le Jardin de Monet"
COURBET "Femme aux Fleurs"
PUVIS DE CHAVANNES "Inter Artes et Naturam"
BOUDIN "Marine"

As previously agreed, all expenses in connection with this shipment, i.e. packing, carting, Customs formalities, will be collected forward from you, while on the other hand, we will gladly take care of the insurance until destination.

As requested, this case will be forwarded for your account:
